Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test is abbreviated as AP PGECET. The candidates who are willing to get M.Tech certification can appear for this examination. This entrance examination is conducted JNTU, Kakinada on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for those students who have not attempted for GATE or are not able to clear GATE examination. The students those who have cleared the GATE examination will be given preference at the time of seat allotment and even they need to apply for the course separately.
There are 5 different regional centres where AP PGECET examinations are conducted namely, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, Tirupathi and Anantapuram. The examinations of AP PGECET are conducted by JNTU, Kakinada. There are many post graduation courses available. Interested candidates can get their admission in the courses like Engineering, Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy. This is state level examination which will be conducted for students who were not able to give or clear GATE examinations.
